We decided to start Independent Lenses to be…..well…. independent. We were tired of being beholden to a few huge multi-national lens corporations. In our experience, the lenses from these companies take weeks to be delivered, the prices seem to be increased yearly and there is little flexibility in their redo policies if the prescription needs to be adjusted. We have assembled a team of doctors, electrical engineers, technicians and an industrial designer to establish and maintain our surfacing lab. Our team has spent years researching various types of equipment, technologies and meeting with equipment manufacturers. As a result, we now have one of most technologically advanced surfacing labs in North America. Our equipment is truly state of the art and capable of generating any lens prescription in any material with premium scratch resistant and anti-glare coatings.
