Our lab features a fully automated dip coating system for the application of high performance scratch resistant coating to all types of plastic, trivex and polycarbonate lenses. We use both spin and dip coating systems and are able to provide index matching for optimal durability.
Anti-Reflective Coating
Ion-assisted vacuum deposition technology has become the industry leader in premium anti-glare coatings. The technology uses a magnetic motor to achieve speeds of 36,000 RPM under vacuum pressure. A powerful electron beam gun system works with the Argon/Oxygen ion power source to deliver up to twelve layers of AR that are only a few nanometers thick. This high quality coating also provides a cleaner visual experience due to it's anti-static, hydrophobic and oleophobic properties.
